1. How long have you been in Music?
I have sung from as early as 2 years old , because my mom was a music teacher. I also studied saxophone in children's music school for 8 years and competed in various contests. So you can say that I have been already 20 years involved in music.

2. What was that moment for you when you saw an act and said "THAT is what I HAVE to do with my life, I want to do that"?
It was actually when I heard Queen as a two-year-old and then when I was 18 and saw W.A.S.P performing live. It was their passion that converted me into performing.

3. Who was that band or performer for question 2?
Queen and WASP.

4. What is the name of the CD playing in your car right now, if you don't have a car, what's in your cd player at home?
New Metallica album.

5. What is your favorite color M&M?
I like them all! but with peanuts is better!

6. What is a typical Saturday for Marya Roxx?
To sleep in for as long as I can and then when I wake up start listening to music and flipping through some magazines or books, chatting in Myspace and making some new lyrics, melodies.

7. Where do you find influence?
Everywhere, from my own life, in concerts, from movies from cool songs and people!

8. What is your favoriate comic book, if not a comic book, what is your favoriate MOVIE in last 20 years?
I really don't have any favourite comic books but I like from movies:
Dazed and Confused, Reality Bites.

9. What is your favorite drink?
Coffee and cranberry juice.

10. What do you want to say to your fans?
Thank you all for support and keep it real!

Marya is taking part in one more very exciting competition! Marya's first round will be on 2nd Nov 2008 at Safari Sam's in LA! The competition is part of Emergenza Music Festival. To get through to the second round Marya needs as many votes as possible, on the night at Safari Sam's! The audience will vote by raising their hands after every band's set on and all hands will be counted by an MC. So if anyone is in the LA area, please come along and support Marya at this show! You can buy tickets through Marya's website for $10 and you'll also get a free EP with the tickets. Or you can buy through Safari Sam's for $15 plus a $1 Facility Fee.
